FRIDAY 23rd Feb 6:00pm - 8:30pm : THE ART OF LISTENING
Join Cat for her signature Biodynamic Yin. Yin yoga with biodynamic craniosacral therapy and shamanic awareness. While holding poses for longer periods, we will work with the "field" and with focus, breath work and awareness of the subtle and active passivity, learning how to unwind and release the subtle undercurrents that define us. Deeply nourishing, healing and relaxing.
This workshop includes a Vision Quest/Yoga Nidra designed to help you access your subconscious and glean messages from your higher self. This session is a fun way to access your creative potential as well as connect to your deepest desires. You will leave this workshop feeling grounded, clearer and lighter.
Please bring a journal and something to write with.
SATURDAY 24th Feb 9:00am - 11:00am : CORE FLOW Masterclass
Come prepared to practice and play in a new way! This Hatha and Slow Vinyasa Masterclass will nourish and strengthen your body, mind, and soul.
We will utilize meditation, breath, hatha, and a slower-vinyasa style as we journey through the body. An exploration of the skillful use of the breath, your pelvic floor, and the entire core of being will enrich, refresh, and release your system in new ways – physically, emotionally, and energetically.
This is a great way to establish a mindful foundation in your practice if you’re newer on the mat. If you’ve been practicing for a while, this will help you access new ways to connect into your body. For those with chronic tension or pain, you will find a refreshing way to ease this area. A class with Cat is both deeply healing and equally inspiring as blockages on many levels can be transformed and the current of joy reawakened.
You will leave this Masterclass feeling grounded, inspired, and reconnected to your soul!
SATURDAY 24th Feb 3:00pm - 5:00pm : The Chakras 1-3
GROUNDING, PASSION, POWER
Interested in the chakras? Join Cat Kabira in this 2-hour workshop and learn about this ancient yogic energetic system. This is a unique introduction to the chakras that uses asana, dance, breathwork, energy work and mantra to connect with the chakras. Learn what each chakra is, where they are located and the associated anatomy, and why they are so important. This workshop focuses primarily on the first three chakras that will help you explore your feet, legs, hips, and core a whole new way. As nothing with Cat is ever purely physical, you’ll have the opportunity to delve into your life beliefs, clear emotional blockages, feel your personal integrity and have a lot of fun. Bring a journal and an open mind and come prepared to sweat, feel, and play in a whole new way.
We’ll spend a majority of the time experiencing these practices as well as taking some time to discuss what the chakras are and what they personally mean for us. This is an opportunity to connect to your truth with these fun, powerful, and transformative practices. SUNDAY 25th Feb 9:00am -11:00am : FUN FREEDOM FLY!
Want a playful way to deepen and enhance your practice? Join Cat Kabira for a unique Vinyasa flow that includes an introduction and refinement to arm balances and inversions. You don’t need any crazy skills to attend…just a willingness to have some fun and try something new!
You will enjoy sweating and playing with new variations in your Vinyasa sequence while discovering new muscles and energy lines that can empower you to make your arm balances easy.
We will move for a majority of the time, but will also take time to break down the poses so you can learn some tips and continue to refine your practice for years to come. We will also take time to rejuvenate at the end so you leave feeling joyful, uplifted, and inspired!

While this workshop is a continuation from the “Grounding, Passion, Power” Workshop and can be fun and empowering to take both, both workshops can also be taken individually.
Cat Kabira is a world-renowned yoga teacher trainer and master of the subtle energetic arts.
Cat teaches individuals how to tune into their personal power and reconnect with their core truth. Her innovative style invites you to go deeper into the undercurrents of your soul. What lights you up? What brings you joy? What makes you feel powerful? What are you passionate about?
Cat takes you on a journey. This isn’t yoga as you may know it. You will traverse the ummarked roads of your own experience through movement, subtle energetics, sound, and feeling. This is your initiation on the path to set you free.
Cat’s own journey began at the age of seventeen after experiences with eating disorders, depression, physical and emotional abuse, sexual violence, as well as addiction to drugs and alcohol. She was desperate for a change. She showed up one Wednesday evening for a meditation practice and, suddenly, Cat knew there was something more - a magical secret was deep inside her waiting to be discovered - she was one with everything. As her meditation practice evolved, she found ways to sit with and heal old trauma, pain, discomfort, sadness, fear, and anger. She began to create space for rest and relaxation - primary tools for self-healing.
In conjunction with her meditation practice, Cat began her journey with asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (breath work). What “hooked” Cat with yoga wasn’t so much the asana poses but the stillness between the poses. That’s when she could feel sensations that were almost magical; she began to celebrate her strength, and her body “spoke” to her while also healing itself.
Cat’s journey with the subtle energetic arts began early in her life. Through therapy and in studies with shamans and other energetic healers including osteopaths, Native American guides, Medicine Men, palmists, psychotherapists, craniosacral therapists, and psychics, she understood the power of this deeper work. She remembered that we are already whole. All parts of her were allowed to be present. She began to experience and practice this connection to the greater current that is always here - it is the source of Life.
Cat’s work has taken her around the globe multiple times to places including Bali, the United States, Australia, Europe, Asia, and South and Central America. In addition to her work on the mat, she is a lover of learning and playing who enjoys time on the trapeze, bouncing on her trampoline, composing on the piano, writing, and exploring other movement modalities such as Pilates, Gyrotonics, dance, and aerial arts.
