ABOUT BREATHWAVE :
Breathwave is a technique of relaxed conscious connected breathing. It cultivates a high vibrational frequency (like the heart organ, or the Earth) and liberates our connection back to our natural state of being; blissful joy and pure love. You might have heard of “Breathwork”, “Rebirthing” and “Transformational Breathwork”. ‘Breathwave’ is a technique that is less forceful (than ‘bellow’s breath in kriya pranayama techniques’ for example). The Breathwave technique floods your system with oxygen and prana, so when the body is functioning in the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest), the body becomes completely relaxed so the meridians and energy systems of the body blast open in a short period of time. Cells repair themselves exponentially. The body learns to breathe with the entirety of the lung capacity. The body intelligently heals itself, which can result in heart opening, blissful clarity, also can involve a purge of emotions, vibration and various sensations in the body. Nadine and Brodie coach the ‘breathers’ (students) how to breathe fully and with ease without over-efforting. It’s a practice you can do at home to keep your systems ‘clean’.
Nadine and Brodie have recently been to Canada to learn the Breathwave technique taught by facilitator Robin Clements. Robin has been a senior teacher for Shiva Rea (an internationally acclaimed yoga teacher), and also for the Transformational Breath Foundation. He has adapted his technique that uses hands on facilitation similar to Thai Yoga Massage, and is a culmination of over 20 years of experience.
Nadine and Brodie have recently co-facilitated with Robin at Blessed Coast Festival in Squamish, Canada.
We recommend not eating 2-3 hours before 6pm. Doors will open at 5.30pm so you can come settle in, meet Nadine and Brodie and discuss anything you wish to, or what you’re working on before the session.
Drink plenty of water 24 hours before. Wear comfortable and warm clothing.
